| 346805 | 2005-04-19 23:49:00 | I ordered one of these: www.sal.neoburn.net Courier Post were late so I rang to see what the prob was. They said "outer packaging was ripped so was kept back so it could be checked the items were ok. They were ok, so was then sent on to me late". I interrogated them a bit - as I was anxious nothng had maybe fallen out or whatever but no, I was assured it was fine. This is what arrived this morning: www.sal.neoburn.net www.sal.neoburn.net www.sal.neoburn.net I'm not just annoyed cause its damaged, more that they lied and told me it was OK> Who checks them? A blind person? How to you do that to a whacking great thing like that anyway - it would have to have been a truck! |

Nah, its not my claim really - the suppliers will send me a new one. Its just they lied. Not to mention driving over people parcels with their trucks, not on really. |

Not to mention driving over people parcels with their trucks, not on really . Your real beef lies with the people who despatched it, but they will suffer the financial loss anyway so perhaps they will learn the lesson . Anything that liable to damage should be properly packaged and quite clearly the item was not . You don't have to drive a truck over something as damage-prone as that, just dropping a heavy parcel on top is enough and courier vans get pretty full . It may well have incurred the damage on the second half of its journey after the damaged packaging was checked . Cheers Billy 8-{) |

And no, you haven't handled this thing - you couldn't squash it like that by hand, or by putting some other parcel on top of it . (Unless that other parcel contained a truck) :-) My main point though is they DID NOT check it . I have spoken to CP and they admit it probably wasn't, and it was repacked by thm . |

| 346813 | 2005-04-20 01:10:00 | Geez, that's very poor service although it seems that is becomming common for couriers . I had a bad experience with PBT last week . I ordered a soundcard on 30/03 and after a week of waiting for it I contacted the supplier and was given the tracking number . When I got hold of PBT they said the item had been scanned into their warehouse in CHCH 01/04 and been sent out for delivery . They had to check with the driver and would get back to me . Well, noone called so I rang again the next day and was told quite abruptly it was lost and to get a replacement sent from the supplier . A new item was sent and I called PBT after more waiting and was told the item was available at the depot but their driver had "too much freight on board and can't bring it out today" . So I went to pick it up . When I got there they had two packages for me . You guessed it, the original was there as well (waiting 16 days for delivery!!) . Obviously the person who checked the warehouse for it must have been blind as well . I didn't think the labour market was quite THAT tight yet that courier companies have to resort to hiring blind monkeys to work for them . |

Is that your best (cheap) shot? If you haven't anything nice to say, why bother posting? Yes, I am cheerful, I lead a very happy life, and that was definitely informed comment . I deal with Courier Post so often that my neighbours think I must be running a courier-based tinny house . ;) Cheers Have this one on me :D Billy 8-{) |
