| 346794 | 2005-04-19 23:32:00 | Greetings all Well i have just suggested to trademe that they add a case badges category as i am sick to death of trying to find a case yet having to wade through listings for case badges case in point today on trademe (southland) there are 23 listings in the Cases and power supplies section of which only 1 is not a case badge GRRRRRRR, this is my pet peeve with trademe, unlike a lot of people I quite like trademe, but what really amazes me is that this one small thing gets me so grumpy. I would suggest everyone go to trademe and add to my thread in the category suggestions but well i don't feel like being banned But seriously who buys these Case Badge things, I for one only think of buying things that are hardware or software, none of this girly window dressing stuff, if i want my case to look cool I'll sit on it, If I want my case to look pretty I won't sit on it. PS Metla when you get your tradeF1 site up either make a seperate category for case badges or else ban them altogether and i'll be your best friend :p |

I think not. Its more of a BOY racer thing. HAve a look at some shops for a nice case then. Or specify your search at Trademe - you don't have to browse - enter PC case or Computer Case or the like. Some people like to customise their cases. |

The thing is I don't want to pay lots of money for one, and as I live in Invers there isn't a great selection of cases down here - $98 from DSE whereas my budget only streches to about $50 max, and the last time I looked for a cheap case from an online supplier the shipping alone was $40. Although having said that I just checked pricespy and the cheapest case is $44 with $15 shipping from supercheapPC so this may be the way to go, thanks Ninja you inspired me to recheck things although I still think case badges need their own subsection |

Bad reputattion. www.ascent.co.nz Cheapest - $44.75. This from their website FAQ too: # What are your freight charges? None if the shipping address is within New Zealand. Ascent offers FREE shipping within New Zealand on all items purchased online for delivery Monday through Friday. Saturday delivery, if requested, costs $10 including GST per order. |

ATX has the 2 small ps2 ports for mouse and keyboard - AT uses the old din5 (fat plug) for keyboard. |

| 346802 | 2005-04-20 07:06:00 | I have to confess to buying a case badge, infact I got 3 at the same time for some Linux geek friends :D I have the "Linux Inside" one from this place (www.thinkgeek.com). Simple, yet elegant. Not into cluttering up the outside of my case :nerd: |
