2005-04-19 23:40:00 | I am free of all prejudices. I hate everyone equally But I hate the Catholic church more than most others.

2005-04-20 00:04:00 | Josef Ratzinger - I wrote a thread about this guy becoming pope and some aggrieved punters had Jen remove it. Ah well, glad I am a modern western secularist - ack! that's what Ratzinger said was the "greatest enemy". | vinref (6194) | |
2005-04-20 00:51:00 | That's OK. I posted in a thread about the Pope & that got deleted, too. Or I just can't find it. :) Someone mentioned something about the next Pope having something to do with olive oil & wondered who it could be. I suggested Popeye - he could be Pope Eye the First. But it was deleted. Or I'm just blind.

2005-04-20 01:41:00 | Anybody else notice he's an ex-nazi? So is the rest of the church. Always has been.

2005-04-20 01:43:00 | Anybody else notice he's an ex-nazi? No, he was not. He was drafted into the Wehrmacht in the closing stages of the war, as all German and Austrian boys of his age were. It is known that his father was persecuted for anti-Nazi sentiments. He was held prisoner by the Americans, but released as he was an ordinary soldier.
