I am looking to upgrade the power supply, The power supply i am looking at says its ATX Version 2.2. What does this mean? , would it be compatible ( in terms of plugs and different voltages) to my current config? Thanks |

After 4 years why upgrade now? Wait until you are replacing the rest and buy the power supply that suits the new setup. |

| 649880 | 2008-03-16 13:37:00 | it just means your new PSU will come with connectors your computer doesn't need to use. So just don't plug them in. Almost every PSU has a 20+4 pin main connector which separates into 2 connectors so you only plug the 20 pin part in if your motherboard only needs it. It is electrically compatible |
