2016-06-09 22:35:00 | Its just more Race Based rubbish by the National Government in their quest for Separatism. For me Finlayson is reason enough on his own not to vote National. Hes a "List MP", having failed on a number of occasions to get elected, a Racist, and Gay to boot, none of which you need to run a country. However, hes very good friends with John Key. :)

2016-06-09 23:04:00 | Time in NZ that life sentence = life (99 years) not a slap on the wrist and out in say 10 years. It won't happen. Too many bleeding hearts in the justice system and gov.. | paulw (1826) | |
2016-06-10 00:50:00 | "Attorney-General Christopher Finlayson has slammed "dangerous and ill-informed" criticism of the decision to charge the killers of Moko Rangitoheriri with manslaughter, rather than murder. Finlayson says he will explain the decision to downgrade the charges for David Haerewa and Tania Shailer after the pair are sentenced later this month." The excuse will be that while they treated him like ****, they didn't actually intend for him to die. Like torturing a kid for years is OK, right.

And up the sentence to match murder in cases like this. The real worry is we only hear about the kids beaten to death. Just how many thousands of kids get just as bad a beating but dont actually die, so no one hears about it ? |

2016-06-10 04:40:00 | I wonder about people....this for instance. www.stuff.co.nz It bothered me to start with, now reading this: Dripping wet, the mother of a missing toddler desperately knocked on a farmhouse door to get help for her trapped daughter. "She knocked on the door and told us that her daughter was stuck in the car and said we had to get her out." She said the three people who escaped from the car managed to because they were '"fit enough". "They got out themselves, it [the water] wasn't over their head or anything." So how the **** do you not even attempt to try and get the kid out? Even her mother - I'm damn sure, water over my head even, I would have battled to try and not just buggered off because I was "fit".

2016-06-10 06:13:00 | I now wonder if the child was strapped into one of those childproof car seats ? A panicking person might have quite a bit of trouble unlocking it, maybe? Who knows, but yes I'd like to know more about the circumstances in that case. LL

2016-06-10 06:36:00 | We seem to have a lot of this black on black violence in New Zealand. And you know what? there is absolutely nothing zippo, nil, zero you can do about it except hand wring. I just do not care now what these people do to each other. They do not care why should I? | prefect (6291) | |
