1421307 2016-06-01 06:47:00 Whilst I have always been a Dos/Windows user, I do kind of admire what Steve Jobs and Wozniak did.

But why would you want to see him. He was not the marketer, he was the engineer. And he has been out of Apple for the last 30 years.

What has he been doing since?

Is it just a meal ticket for him now?

I hear he has to buy any apple gear that he wants.

Is this a comment on your view of relative values, or Apple's skill-set values?

I was not commenting on my view.

.

Because without him we wouldn't be doing what we are now?

What they did....well 2 very different things.
Wozniack came up with keyboards, came up with screens, wanted to make computing avaiable for the masses without it costing loads of money.

Jobs wanted to make loads of money and that point they parted ways.

I know all of that, and I agree with you.

But what I am saying is that is it still worth paying to go and see him?

Has he anything new to offer or he just doing it to earn a living.

I mean I would not pay to see Lulu live on stage at 70, or Leo (one hit wonder) Sayer.

Just hasn't worked there since 87. Google is your friend. Yes he is still relevant today. plod (107)

Oh.
Then, no.
I wouldn't pay to see anyone rave on except comedians.

Treat it like it is, just a bit of entertainment . A bit of history.

Lulu would be great BTW. Shes alot more than her few 1960's hits. Plenty of 60-70 year olds still very much capable of putting on a good show , Tom Jones, Rolling Stones , Iggy Pop (how old is he ?)
John Clesse & Eric Idle show, 70 year olds having a talk fest. Was great .
Maybee Woz could be the best show of the year, or not. Just google some reviews of his recent shows
