I do have a password on my account. wainutech, how do I remove it to try the update again? thanks, David First you have to be on a local account, Not a email account. To change if on a email, in the search type Account select Manage your account, under Your Account, select switch to local account. It will ask for your current password, enter it, then where it aqsks for new password leave them blank. When it reboots it will boot directly to the desktop. If you already are on a local account, to remove the password, Again in Account, sign-in options, click on change password, enter current and where you put another again leave them blank. Theres several ways to remove passwords if in a local account- as described password-user-account-remove-windows-10 (www.tenforums.com) |

I could check it out with teamviewer if you want David. See what maybe stopping it If you want me to get TV then either run it or install it then give me the ID and pw it gives you in a PM |

| 1424138 | 2016-08-07 02:35:00 | Get it from the above site. The same thing happened here. The update appeared on this, but didnt on the other PC. Decided to get the ISO and did a clean install on both of them. So far, the update fixed the wireless drivers on this. But broke speccy (it shows the wrong temp in the Anniversary version - Piriform know about this now). Samsung Magician also broke. |
