It is a yearly fee - How-long-is-my-license-valid-for- (piriform.zendesk.com) As for is the paid better than free - ?? depends on what you want it to do, the free one does monitor the amount of junk building up and throws up a warning if it gets to high. Otherwise CCleaner Professional includes the following: - Complete Cleaning - cleaning across multiple users in a single click - System and browser monitoring - never forget to clean again! - Scheduled cleaning - Auto-Updating - always have the latest cleaning definitions - Priority email Support - First notification of updates, beta programs and special offers Not really worth it personally, unless a person is to lazy or forgetful to manually run it. Even then the free can be set to run and clean automatically on startup. Personally running on close down would be better, but that's just me :) Edited: hows this for timing :p Just caught it - free version: 7368 |

I've updated it since I paid for it (doesnt matter what version I installed, it accepted the key). It hasnt expired yet, it hasnt asked me to pay again, and it's installed on 3 computers here Unless (because I've got a receipt for it, it was inc in a bundle I paid for at the time (with Speccy, Defraggler, and Recuva. That was $49.97. Went down to $24.98 None of those have expired either |
