I have noticed slow PC performance, from couple of days i didnt install antivirus program on my pc but i feel it i now infected with virus or malware and performance is compromised. please suggest me the best antivirus of 2016 i can cleanup my PC against viruses | adam43 (17488) | ||
| 1424343 | 2016-08-10 09:41:00 | I am using Avira, excellent in every way. Has your PC re activated Defender by any chance? Defender slows the computer down as it insists on scanning program files before launching. Defender will disable itself if you install a 3rd party Anti Virus prog. |

| 1424344 | 2016-08-10 09:46:00 | For a start you want to see if your comp has been compromised,try a couple of online scanners www.eset.com www.kaspersky.com Also Malwarebytes(Free 30 Day Trial) https://www.malwarebytes.com/ As for a Antivirus product most use either Eset Nod32 or Eset Smart Security ,both are paid ones but there is others Are you sure Windows 7 is not getting updates? (would slow it down) |

| 1424345 | 2016-08-10 10:29:00 | I would scan it with adwcleaner (toolslib.net). It does a pretty good job Download then run it wait for it to finish then click on clean. Then reboot. Then run it again click on uninstall WHAT programs have you installed since you installed Win7? |

All routine programs like Adobe Photoshop, Free Download manager, Open office etc. I surely give it a shot |
