| 1422452 | 2016-06-28 18:04:00 | Hi all, I'm not too sure whether this breaches the rules or not but I'm sure this is not likely to be classed as commercial because its a one off. If however, it is inappropriate please delete the post. I'd like to think this is not for personal gain because hopefully a few PF1er's will get some kit for very little $$$. I'm doing a bit of a clean out at home and rather than throw things out thought someone here may find some use for it. I have the following; 1) Gigabyte Z87X-OC socket 1150 motherboard - link here (www.gigabyte.co.nz) - Got this from an online PB Tech clearance last year but my studies drained the bank balance so I never got around to purchasing a CPU for it. It has been opened for the obligatory oooohhh ahhhhh experience but has not been used and is brand new. $120 o.n.o. 2) Original Nintendo Wii Console - White with 2 Wii-motes, 2 nun-chucks and a Wii balance board. Not much else I can add except that is has the Hackmii mod installed along with the Homebrew channel. I have a few games to go along with it. I will post the full list later today but there is Splinter Cell, Zumba, Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Wii Fit Plus, The Biggest Loser & Tiger Woods Golf 2012. Everything works I just haven't used it in ages. I think there's a new hackmii/Homebrew update out there if you're into that sort of thing. $200 o.n.o. 3) IBM 1U server - don't have the exact model but will find that out. It has 2 x Xeon CPU's (Quad Core I think), 8GB of memory and a quad port network server adapter (Intel I think but not sure). It has 12 x SATA drive bays (3.5''), all hot swap. I think I have 9x2TB drives in there plus 1 x 1TB and 2 x 1.5.... again I'd have to check. I was going to use this as a NAS/ESX host but just never got around to it. I've booted it up a few times and works fines, it's been wrapped in a black rubbish bag in the closet for a few months now. NOTE this is not the kind of unit you want inside the house... It is an enterprise server. $400-$500 4) Cisco Catalyst layer 3 switch (not sure if it's a 29xx or 35xx... pretty sure it's 35xx). Has 24x100Mb ports with 2 x 1GB uplinks, I think I have a GBics connector laying around somewhere for the uplink ports but will need to check. I used this for about 6 months but with the amount of traffic being backed up the 100Mb just wasn't cutting the mustard. Since moving house though I've not bothered unpacking it. I don't remember the credentials but you can factory reset it to the default.... I may have a console cable laying around as well. $75-$100 o.no. The main item I want to get rid of is the server, so if you take that off my hands, I will look at discounting any (or all of them if you're keen) of the other items on the list. Drop me a PM if interested. Thanks, |
