651053 2008-03-20 09:14:00 I installed software for my logitech g15 keyboard and it seems to have blue-screened my pc. No problem, I can still boot into safe mode.

Safe Mode even if I run as administrator won't let me do uninstalls. I can't even run an Acronis backup image I have.
Can anyone help?

I get messages like 'The Windows Installer Service is not accessible in safe mode'

651054 2008-03-20 09:16:00 That is odd... are you uninstalling via Control panel?

If uninstalling Via Cp does not work, delete the whole file from C:\Program Files\Logitech and then run CCleaner

651055 2008-03-20 09:19:00 Driver Issue by the sounds of it - try running system restore back to before putting in the software.

Click start, in the search box above start type in restore, select system restore, look carefully and you will see it recommends a restore point, ignore that and under it ( cant remember the exact wording) but it lets you select different restore points, select the one prior to the KB install. Data will be fine, just winds back the system/programs/reg.

Your drivers may be to old from when the KB was first produced - go to Logitec Driver site (www.logitech.com) look at the very bottom line on the page
Removed installation of the Sideshow driver for 64-bit Vista. The driver causes a crash on certain systems. Once the issue is resolved, the driver will be again part of the GamePanel Software There are new drivers it appears from the drop down list on the right

651058 2008-03-20 09:23:00 ok goto device manager, then goto your keybord in the keyboard section, then double click your logitech keybord, then click the driver tab, then click Roll back Driver. See if that fixes the problem. SPARTAN 860 (2618)
