Start up computer today and get the new hardware found alert...and it's my Cd rom drive which I have had on my computer for years. never happen before, very strange. |

Change the cmos battery, they usually only last 3-4 years, this will cause loss of motherboard/bios/hardware settings when computer reboots especially after not being used for a day or two. |
