| 650720 | 2008-03-19 02:32:00 | I insert the setup disk for my ASUS P5B-E motherboard. I click on driver installation wizard. I immediately get a pop up. "Error 2- cannot execute G:\Bin\ASUSInstALL\InstAll.exe 00" I have tried starting by clicking on the executable. I have downloaded the driver file from Asus web site. Nothing works |

| 650724 | 2008-03-19 04:08:00 | OK the full story. I recently uninstalled winxp. I deep formatted my c: drive I re-installed xp. I tried to install the MB drivers but got the message (error-2 etc) However the drivers seem to still be loaded. Internet self connected again and everything seemed to be working . Device manager says all OK. Since my earlier post I have turned off Spyware doctor. I have unticked all entries in startup and in services. Just left on my vid card. I have turned off my second monitor. I now only have 14 necessary services running. I have tried in safe mode. All with negative results. What do I try next? Jack |

| 650725 | 2008-03-19 04:13:00 | What driver installation wizard? XP's?? If you're trying to add exe files to the driver install wizard, thats probably why this error is coming up. If theres an install.exe file or setup.exe on the cd or download site. You double click on the exe file, so the drivers install. Did you do this ? And if any files are zipped, unzip them first. |
