650658 2008-03-18 23:46:00 Hi

Is there any free Desktop calendar software, which should be allowed us to enter our
alerts for particular dates for whole year.
And we can distribute this entered data to other people in our group. May be export the
data file and then import on the same desktop software on other PCs.

Thanks,
prayami (13094)

650661 2008-03-19 01:11:00 Thanks for reply,

My requirement is little bit different. I want calendar which we can put on
the desktop. And the current date is selected and like mobile phone, there
will be reminder message displayed below the calendar.

Thanks,

650664 2008-03-19 01:36:00 Maybe look here (www.snapfiles.com)for free desktop notes/calenders, in particular Rainlendar (www.snapfiles.com)Lite. Not sure if you can export files, but check the user reviews... kahawai chaser (3545)
650665 2008-03-19 07:09:00 How about Google Calendar.
I have it set up to sync with my cell phone. Works well.

650666 2008-03-19 07:11:00 On second thought, sorry. You stipulated "desktop", Google calendar is web based. Probably not what you want? jcr1 (893)
650667 2008-03-19 07:18:00 There's this but its not free (www.xemico.com)

Looks like it supports Google calendar and Outlook

The program itself sits on the desktop, where you can put notes in and import / export appts etc.

And contacts I think. I think it also supports calendar data sharing, across a LAN

This is what it looks like (www.imagef1.net.nz)

When its running
