| 348500 | 2005-04-25 01:46:00 | My 9kg barbeque bottle has 'time expired' and will have to be certified before refilling. It is in as-new condition despite its age, but I am told that testing can cost as much as a new bottle. Any experience out there? Cheers Billy 8-{) |

The Boss recently bought a new bottle rather than fork out $35 for a test. :( |

| 348505 | 2005-04-25 04:28:00 | Unfortunately, the new bottles don't fit into the locker in the cockpit of our boat... The old bottle is a Primus, and is a squat shape - just perfect for fitting into the available space. Does anyone know if 4.8 litre Primus bottles are available anywhere? |

I have filled many bottles that have just passed their 2nd re-test. The one big advantage of re-testing is that you will get the full 10 year period with them. It is common for people to bring in a new bottle that is already a year past the manufacture date. |

| 348508 | 2005-04-25 11:26:00 | Cost was $35 & included a fill. That was a couple of years ago so probably a bit more expensive now. It was easier for us to have the test done as our bottle is quick release that fits both the heater & BBQ. Pauline. |
