| 651000 | 2008-03-20 03:17:00 | XP's multimedia audio controller driver doesn't appear to work with an A50 Thinkcentre's chipset . Even after XP installed OK, and I downloaded the AC97 drivers from Realtek's site, the PC reset itself halfway through installation of those drivers . I downloaded the chipset drivers from Lenovo, and that fixed it . . . . . So I don't think it's the XP cd, more just a bit of a punchup between XP and the particular chipset used in this model of Thinkcentre . Appreciate your help Speedy!! |
