349521 2005-04-28 01:09:00 Indeed, this is the best Soap opera I've ever seen ;)

Ha Ha. Very true. But I'd still like to pour myself onto the LazyBoy every so often and soak up something digital.
:)

349524 2005-04-28 04:57:00 Where do you get the idea that TV programmes are made to educate or inform?

The programmes are merely the wrapping for the important stuff: the advertisements.

Any content in programmes, especially any content which might provoke thought, is a bad thing.

349525 2005-04-28 07:48:00 Sure Graham L, but given the way it works (Market rules). isn't there a big enough bunch, I mean identifiable market, of Geeks to support a prog featuring IT ? You can sell the latest cellphone whizz-bang in the breaks, and DSE can promote cut-rate mobos and Microsoft can put on promos about how they're trying to save the world. That'll pay for it and we can all enjoy watching a couple bright young things chasing a file around the HD. mark c (247)

349527 2005-04-28 12:01:00 Triangle TV in Auckland usually has an IT program from the US. Usually at some strange hour of the night. wmoore (6009)
