Installed ok, but do you think I can get GRUB or LILO to install (I don't want to write it to the MBR of my main hard disk). I buy both PCWorld and the aussie mag, found that the CD's which come with PCWorld tends to have no-so-up-to-date version of apps, but the articles beats the aussie mag hands down. PCWorld editor, update the apps versions more often and I promise not to buy the ocker mag... :nerd: |

I also have that version, but have yet to get around to installing it (waiting for another harddrive, and will be installing Windows on new HD, and formatting old drive and using half for Ubuntu (20GB), and the other half as a ghost to new drive, and possible page file. |

| 348925 | 2005-04-27 20:25:00 | Anyone had a go at Kubuntu? (KDE version, available for download only) Found the graphics terrible (KDE3.4), tried on 2 different machines. Gave up on that one. A pity, because I prefer KDE to Gnome. |
