| 650480 | 2008-03-18 11:40:00 | Hi there, Recently, disk defragmenter stopped working in my laptop. It is an HP Pavilion ZE 5170 with Windows XP. About that time I uninstalled a couple of programs and I suspect this may have upset a file. Even when I installed the PC world Diskkeeper Lite, defragmenter still did not operate. Can anyone suggest a fix and how to go about it. Thanks --- Trevor A. |

| 650481 | 2008-03-18 12:12:00 | Might be quicker and better to just use another one Windows defrag is slow and there are plenty of better (free) ones to do the job Here's one (www.auslogics.com) - it's only 1 and a half megs |
