348706 2005-04-25 21:44:00 Just sent this to info@stagecoach.co.nz

"Hi.

I have a Monthly Pass, due to expire 17 May.
If the six-day strike goes ahead, will the expiry date of my pass automatically be extended 6 days, given that I have pre-paid for a service that I may never receive, or will I receive a refund?

Please advise."

I wait with baited breath for a reply.

(for those of you South of the Border, that's $140 pre-paid)

348707 2005-04-25 21:48:00 lol you know you shouldn't expect anything from the bus system.

As my friend said, if the drivers want more money they should do their job properly first. Some bus drivers are useless.

Stagecoach is also useless, so much so, that traffic runs better without buses.

Hah!

348709 2005-04-25 22:31:00 I support the drivers. They are saying they will take a break for 10 mins between trips and not start a trip that will finish outside their working hours, as part of their industrial action.

I would want drivers to take a good break anyhow, regardless of schedules and who would want to work outside hours they are not being paid.

My wife also travels by bus and has a monthly pass, and will be similarly effected.

Thank you for your email.
As soon as an agreement is reached between the Combined Unions and
Management, some form of travel compensation will be considered.
Stagecoach Auckland apologise for any inconvenience caused and assure you
that we are working with all parties to resolve the situation."
