| 651793 | 2008-03-23 03:14:00 | Hi there trying to find a Removeable hdd racks. Wanting 2 that look the same 1 ide and 1 sata. Can you get 1s that are both in one unit i think i have seen them before but not 100% sure. Thanks |

| 651794 | 2008-03-23 05:26:00 | I’m racking my old brain. Are you talking about a removable HD that fits in your computer? If you are talking about a external rack setup, you can only use (I think) sata. IDE has length of cable restrictions. Sata can easily be put on the back of your PC and all you do is plug in a sata cable to your device (rack). You will also need to pipe in power to your rack unless it’s built in. Hope this helps. Better to get a USB2 externale drive, probably cheaper, but fixed, in that changing drives is screw driver country in most cases. try <www.pbtech.co.nz |
