| 651732 | 2008-03-23 01:28:00 | I have a Winfast TV2000 XP Deluxe TV Tuner/Video capture card (see here (www.leadtek.com)) Currently installing XP Media Centre Edition on my 2nd box which I want to shift into the living room. Question is... do I need to buy a Media Centre Remote or can I use the remote which came with the tuner card. Cheers, |

Media Centre is basically XP with a few added in programs - the media part being 1 of them. So you should have the same functions as you have now if using the same Hardware. |

| 651740 | 2008-03-26 01:49:00 | Hmm I've just noticed, if the winfast wizard runs on startup, if you right mouse on its icon, there's an MCE remote option? And you can tick it with the Deluxe, what it does, I have no idea ! This is using PVR2, not the older program, for the Deluxe tuner |
