351798 2005-05-03 11:17:00 Okay you want to lock it maybe Jen? Can you do that? CreightonBrown (5692)
351799 2005-05-03 11:19:00 Creighton ... I agree with manicminer. I think you need to take it more easy and not get wound up about this. Perhaps have an early night now and things might look different in the morning (or at least better) :)
Hi Creighton when i get advice like that i generally do the opposite!!!!

351800 2005-05-03 11:21:00 Maybe it's not the thread that needs to be locked up

Interesting reading and great entertainment!

351801 2005-05-03 11:28:00 Nope. Do you need my bank account number for depositing the $10? :pI'm almost tempted to do it. Perhaps I'll deposit it to your credit card... number and expiry please :D

I would highlight they can give over the logs, but they want to charge $200 instead of the normal/reasonable rate of $70.00Umm if NZDating are making their raw server logs available to you, then it should be the few hundred thousand users that visit the site in an uproar, not you. No way in hell should they release log information that could later be used to identify an individual without a warrant. Particularly as you've made it clear you have some kind of vendetta.

I fail to see what you will gain by getting these logs at any rate. At the end of the day, they are still within their rights to ban/delete/kick/block you for whatever reason they see fit. Whether thats because you've been a prat, had complaints against you, used the wrong version web browser, made the bed the wrong way is irrelevant. Private property, private rules. Read their T&C.

If you turned up at my office, I could call the Police and have you trespassed. It's private property, I don't need a valid reason, I just can. Simple. End of story.

It certainly is...even though I can't follow a word of what Creighton is babbling on about.

I think he could make some sort of career from confusing the hell out of people.

Politics perhaps?

351805 2005-05-03 11:48:00 I was talking to Metla, its kinda a long-running thing we joke about.... We both give each other a bit of flak about it.
A few things come to mind:

I am rarely biased, but am open to be told if I am. This has been the occasion a few times, but only once was I rightly so.

It does not bother me if you're black or white (long-live Michael Jackson), tall or short, or anything else that you may not describe as "normal". You are just as intellectually capable (if not more so) than any of the others here.

I like Mac's, but prefer a Chicken McCheese ;)

I would rather also lock a thread than ban somebody, and this is fast heading down the path of the former.

Can anybody tell me why this thread should carry on? You've all been such good little pf1'ers lately.... So surely you dont need it open just to start a flame war, right?!

351806 2005-05-03 11:50:00 So surely you dont need it open just to start a flame war, right?!Pfft. You underestimate us. We can start a flame war without this thread, no problem.

I say kill it, save the OP any further embarassment.
