That said, I have been looking at getting an MP3 player, But only at around the 1GB point, No way I would shell out $638 for an mp3 player.Even if the price per GB is very much in its favour. |

Every review I have read on the ipods have always put them out in front of the competition, these reviews not only come from mac heads, but our own pcworld mag, and other pc resources |

| 351204 | 2005-10-24 00:56:00 | And? I never said ipods aren't good, Just that they are more then I would spend on an Mp3 player. I couldn't care less if God himself stated he preferred an ipod. |

I agree with you. I wouldn't shell out $600 bucks for an mp3 player either. Also, if you compare the Nano to the Truly 313: 1. Truly has a bigger size screen (1.85") while Nano has 1.5" 2. Truly has FM radio, Nano doesn't. 3. Truly has memory card slot, Nano doesn't. 4. I believe video playback is scheduled to be released on the Truly model and it just involves a simple firmware update (to be confirmed but I've been told). When you compare per Gig pricing, the bigger one is going to be cheaper. You're not only paying for the Gig flash, but also the player itself. When you increase the Gigs, you're only buying a bigger flash and this will make it cheaper when you increase the storage. When I compare products, I compare the FEATURES and what it can do. I'm not knocking the Nano at all, I just found this one to be a lot better with features and better priced. If I had all the money in the world, I would probably buy all the different kind of mp3 players :D. Cheers |

HDD and large flash players are a different catagory of MP3 player to the 1GB and lower flash ones. I think that the extra 12 dollars seems well invested. I think that superfishnz got a good deal. -Qyiet |
