| 350437 | 2005-05-01 20:55:00 | Sue, have you used automator yet? Not yet but looks easy enough. Playing with the RSS screen saver, several different feeds available. General Safari RSS feeds are easy to set up, large list built in too. RSS Feeds show up in Safari's address bar if available from that web site. Control-command-d gives instant dictionary definitions of most words moused over, on or off line. Built in Dictionary. Dashboard is great, default F12, dock or set to whatever you prefer. My Dashboard Weather Widget is now set to Hamilton, New Zealand, 6 day future weather built in :-) Exposé remains the same, great. pdfs open in Safari or open in Preview when offline (default) for highlighters & other options. Several picture editing functions available in Preview, plus slideshow with built in options to send to iPhoto, show full screen etc. Slideshow option is built into Mail too for sent & received pictures. TextEdit has major changes & far more options save to HTML etc. No problems so far with NeoOffice/J, iBank & EazyDraw my three main 3rd party programs. Take Care. |
