| 351758 | 2005-05-03 09:20:00 | I was verbally abused for having a mental illness. I complained 3x and the admin ignored me when i asked the users be warned or removed. They did nothing so i told them i was going to complain to the govt because they were allowing abuse when they running a service are legally required to take steps to the run the business in such a way that abuse or law infringements does not occur. They state because i was telling the government they were breaching standards i would be removed because i was causing trouble for them by telling the government they were not complying with NZ laws. |

Life is helped by having people who make sure things run properly and communicate it so that things are improved, and so we evolve this world and make it a better place. |

Is it not possible that people sometimes have to highlight issues and make people aware and noticed of whats going on so that the issues are addressed? |

How many people watch the news at night to see what the issues in NZ are? That its also presented online as well. I have stated not so much a problem for me but a discrepency of what is being administered, regardless of me, i am just an example Like helen clark said on Holmes, something along the lines of: Those that can't win a fight like to hit below the belt, as she was attacked *personally* instead of the issue. The issue is not me, don't attack me, address the issue of the privacy laws and civil rights laws, i am merely just an example of the issue. |

| 351763 | 2005-05-03 09:32:00 | Creighton, whos log file did you request a search of, the dating service's? and, what sort of log is it you want to get your hands on. Why are you complaining to the Privacy Commissioner, isn't this a Fair Trading issue or are you going by the Privact Commissions guidlines (are they laws?)? If it's personal information, AFAIK, they have to maintain this as readily accessable information and must devulge to you on request what the information is that they hold. I do believe thay can charge for data retrieval but it should not be a matter of having to dig too far. If it's on a database it will be readilly accessable, after all what are databases for otherwise. If your not asking a question, please ignore this post. I'm not a mod nor want have any pretense to being one, but there are none around at the mo, so take the following in the spirit it is given. If your wanting to have a rant, post it in the Pf1 Chat room. If your asking a question that is other than computer related, please post it in the PF1 Chatroom also. :) Edit: Will mucking around doing other things I see that the issue has been clarified to some degree. Unless this is a major injury to your person or dignity, I'd be inclined to drop it gracefully if I were you. |

I don't know many online chat places to talk to people for NZ, maybe in time the NZ communuity of forums and chat facilities will grow, which would be very nice in my own opinion. Thanks for the last message, it sounds fair an not so much an attach directed towards me, and agains sorry about where i posted it. |

Okay i get what your saying, its hardly rocket science. Maybe i should have researched this more sooner, i haven't explored that much of the forum. I think now its ingrained my mind, thanks. I'll ask a moderator to change my post location. Maybe finally it has sunk in this time. |
