351190 2005-05-02 06:34:00 There are a lot of iPod users on this forum, I think they are just reluctant to admit that they are using an Apple product incase the Mac abusers attack them. Safari (3993)

As if sales ever tell the real story :p, how often do you really see the best product coming out on top, almost never, its usually the one with greater advertising etc

anyways im going to move on now....

351194 2005-05-02 09:43:00 Case in point: Coca cola sells more than bottled water. Does that necessarily make Coke better for you than water? Besides, so what if iPods sell more? So does Windows XP Edward (31)

There are probably a lot of people on this forum who wear latex and whip themselves with brocolli and quite rightly they don't admit it either. :D
But I digress
I have several mp3 players (flash and cd walkman type) but my absolute favourite is my AudioVox MP4000 which is about 4 years old, as big and heavy as a floppy drive and built like a brick outhouse. It has everything any modern mp3 player has (except radio) with a giant display that can be read at night with no backlight, built in speaker, takes compact flash cards, runs for around 24 hours continuous on two AA batteries and if attacked you can smash someone over the head with it. It is so tough and well made that I dropped by mistake 4 x Compaq SFF comps on it last week in car and it just laughed. Lives in my car and on the rare occasion I get pulled over by the highway patrol I have to quickly explain its not a radar detector.
This retro ,hairy chested mp3 player rules over i plods. :D

351197 2005-10-23 10:13:00 Mine's a Truly 313 - 1 GIG MP3 player. It has a slot for memory cards, so expanadable too. Nice screen size and has FM radio :D. Got it from www.mediaplayers.co.nz. Haven't found any other place that stocks them in NZ. Seems they're the suppliers for these in NZ.

Thanks,
