| 652088 | 2008-03-23 20:49:00 | I've installed Ad-Aware 2007 and I can't make it work properly. It seems to work OK when I install the program, which I've done a couple of times. However, the next time go to use it, after clicking on the icon to launch it I get a dialog box which says "System Error: 1810 has occurred. Service is not online. Application terminates". (I am online of course). Can anyone help? | colmack (2939) | ||

Plus there are other options if that doesn't work further down the thread. Heres what it says, but the link above has pictures as well. >Close Ad-Aware 2007 >Go to the start menu, click 'Run...' and type in 'services.msc' >In the services window, locate 'Ad-Aware 2007 Service', select it and click 'Stop' >Once the service has been stopped, click on "Start" >Then re-open Ad-Aware 2007 and try running a scan |
