| 652081 | 2008-03-23 19:50:00 | A folder with the name of '~SSDFS' has appeared on my C drive of my Win XP Pro computer. Has files inside totalling 1.66 GB. File names of 0000000A.000 and 0000000B.000 etc. Any idea what it is? Can i delete them? many thanks in advance! Cheers |

| 652083 | 2008-03-23 21:44:00 | Can i delete them? many thanks in advance! No idea what it is, but if it was me I'd certainly delete the entire folder. But... first create a restore point, make a backup of the directory the folder is in, then delete the folder but be sure not to empty the recycle bin. Then reboot and see how you go. But as mentioned above, do a Google to get more info for your own peace of mind. |

| 652085 | 2008-03-24 03:51:00 | From the quick look I had on google I would be thinking they were downloaded image or vidio files possibly from utube or something similar. | Driftwood (5551) | ||
| 652086 | 2008-03-24 23:22:00 | Driftwood, nope, i have not "downloaded image or vidio files possibly from utube or something similar". i have now deleted the folder and there seems to be no adverse affects. i'd still love to know where they came from though... |
