| 651728 | 2008-03-22 23:30:00 | I need to reformat my C: I'm trying to kill the Vista OS I was running but it has messed with the master boot record or something and the reinstall of XP pro I did after setup says 'Disk Boot Failure'. Can anyone recommend a good partition management program which creates a bootable cd-rom? I don't have a floppy drive. |

| 651730 | 2008-03-23 03:47:00 | You can wipe the HD using Darik's Boot and Nuke (http://dban.sourceforge.net/). Ive used it to wipe HDs prior to selling the PC. Apparently fills whole the hard disk with 0's, so no data remains. | jwil1 (65) | ||
