| 651457 | 2008-03-22 00:07:00 | Any reason you dont simply reload windows from one of the OS CD's you already have, Use the COA which should be stuck to the underside of the Laptop - then go to HP Driver download (h10025.www1.hp.com) <<<<< For that model of Lappie, and install the original drivers. That way you wont get all the HP Crap that comes on the recovery CD's, and it will run faster without their rubbish |

| 651461 | 2008-03-22 04:06:00 | I've never had them complain about the COA. Unless I've made a typo. But Able Business Machines in Auckland I've found to be the most helpful, more helpful than ringing HP/Compaq themselves. They are Compaq agents and can supply recovery CDs, that is, if its not too old. |

| 651463 | 2008-03-22 05:23:00 | I've got restore cds (11 of them lol), for some laptop / notebook. I just cant remember what the model was (its not mine, I connected the hdd from that to this), then copied the ISO's off it then burned them. |
