| 652552 | 2008-03-25 10:30:00 | Yep - you'll need a motherboard with an Nvidia chipset to run SLi (as well as two PCI-E slots of course). The Asus P5N-E SLI is a good board for the money (less than $200 usually) - though when you run dual cards in that board each PCI-E slot runs at 8x rather than 16x. However, this would not be a bottleneck as the available bandwidth on the slots is more futureproofing than anything. You will need to consider your power supply too - whether it has enough 12v rails to power two cards and whether they can provide the amperage needed. The motherboard would come with a bridging cable that would connect the two cards and (as far as I know) the unified drivers (Forceware) for Nvidia would take care of setting up the cards to run as SLi. See Nvidia's guide for setting up an SLi rig: www.slizone.com |

| 652557 | 2008-03-27 07:02:00 | XP 32 bit will, but not all of it, around 3.25 - 3.5 GB You need a 64 bit mobo and OS to see all of it Atho it may also depend on how much the mobo supports. If the mobo only supports up to 3 GB, obviously you wont get 4 GB. |
