652559 2008-03-25 07:17:00 Where should one post HiJackThis logs to?

I posted one yesterday and it was moved to the PressF1 forum from PC World Cat.

About a month ago, I posted one in PressF1 and it was moved to Chat.

Which forum should one post HiJackThis logs to??

652560 2008-03-25 07:40:00 here at pressF1 - not sure why on earth a hjt log would be moved from here to the chat - obviously a hjt log is for a technical issue that requires a technical answer - even if it is a "looks ok to me" from Speedy :)

Definately here is the place to post them tho

652561 2008-03-25 09:33:00 I posted one yesterday and it was moved to the PressF1 forum from PC World Cat.

About a month ago, I posted one in PressF1 and it was moved to Chat.I moved yesterdays thread on your HJT log from Chat to PressF1 (where it correctly belongs), but I've just searched through your thread posting history for all of this year and cannot find this other HJT thread that you said got moved from PressF1 to Chat last month. Have you got a link to it?

People post things all over the place; sometimes the topic clearly belongs in a particular forum and other times it could go either way.

Technical help on computers (not your mobile phone or TV ...) belongs in PressF1. Threads on computer related articles/reviews/news etc are some of the topics that end up in either forum. I just tend to leave those where the original poster put them.

tags like so -
