2008-03-24 06:15:00 | You can get the .flv files from tvnzondemand if you have a Youtube video downloader such as Orbit (wwww.orbitdownloader.com) | jwil1 (65) | |
2008-04-02 02:48:00 | it doesn't seem to work with tv3 news though, the "video" cannot be "recognized". | WestMclaren2004 (7303) | |
2008-04-02 03:03:00 | it doesn't seem to work with tv3 news though, the "video" cannot be "recognized". That because the video on the TV3 website is in a different format then whats on the tvnz website. As the video on the tvnz website is a mix of flash video & Windows Media video & on the TV3 website its all Windows Media video. Hope this helps :)

2008-04-02 04:34:00 | Or you could buy a DVD/HDD recorder, record it from TV and burn onto DVD then put it on your computer. :)

2008-04-02 22:06:00 | TVNZ is easy to grab the .flv files from, but TV3 streams them differently so is more difficult. I used WMRecorder (http://www.wmrecorder.com/) to grab a news story from TV3 not too long ago. It worked fine. There are possibly free alternatives to WMR, but you'd need to search them out.
