Have you somehow protected the sheet?

Protection is under tools in my version of XL .

652263 2008-03-24 05:26:00 Can you use File Save as (or the 07 equiv).
To find the protection options (there are many), go to customise quick access toolbar, select ALL Commands, and page down to protect.
Of course make sure the file is not protected by file attributes having it READ ONLY etc..
Many choices now with 07, thats why I boot up XP and office 03 when I have trouble...

the toolbar is like greyed out, so i can't click most of the thing .

652265 2008-03-25 16:47:00 Is your installation of Office 2007 a trial only (as these expire and you then have the exact symtopms you describe). Did Excel come with the PC, if so its almost certain to be a trial. You will need to pay in that case for a license. godfather (25)
