2005-05-09 11:17:00 | If it was clean water, let it dry thoroughly for a couple of days, don't be in too much of a hurry to try it. With any luck it will be OK. Clean water is fairly harmless if not combined with electricity. Cheers Billy 8-{)

2005-05-09 11:25:00 | if it goes after it has dried it may be fine. however we used to find that the salts in the water get left behind when the water is dried off and the salts tend to eat the electonics. we used to wash the parts in solvent eg meths. | tweak'e (69) | |
2005-05-09 11:52:00 | My friend did the same thing to her 3315 and it worked just fine. Another friend had his 3315 last in a pile of his puke and in the rain all night and it also worked just fine. Those 3315's are toyota corollas, they'll go forever.

2005-05-09 13:53:00 | Those 3315's are toyota corollas, they'll go forever. That is, until one day they just stop, like mine did. All I'd did was charge the battery, and now it doesn't turn on at all, regardless of whether it's my original battery or another one (ie, problem is with the phone). Lost a couple of text messages and reminders, but hey...

2005-05-09 18:20:00 | How the hell did you drop it in there in the first place? Can't you even go to the toilet without taking the phone with you?

| 353698 | 2005-05-09 20:51:00 | [QUOTE=jackrulz]yea i heated it up on the heater for a few hours and hey presto put the battery back in and it was going..QUOTE] A couple of hours is nowhere near long enough. Moisture will remain and electrolysis will start. That may cause it to die in a relatively short time, which is why I said to wait a couple of days and not be in too much of a hurry. It's your phone, but I'd remove the battery, put it near heat again and chew tranquilisers for another couple of days until it dries out properly. That may also help with the smell.
