The graphics are insane, they are quite the machine. $500 is a bit high although i did pay more than that for an ipod so i don't know. You can already get them at various computer shops around Auckland for about $500 (value pack) IIRC. - David |

2005-05-09 12:07:00 | $369 from the parallel importers... as dodgy as they may be... not sure if it's the value pack Playtech have them at $450 incl. value pack.

2005-05-09 12:18:00 | $369.00 sounds good to me,and seeing as they aren't officially on the NZ market then all available units are parrel imported no matter what shop is selling them (and most probally carry no warrenty), So its a matter of buying from the cheapest source. The value pack looks crapola to me.....

2005-05-09 13:48:00 | yea, alot of people dont like the value pack, im not a big fan of the small screen games, but im wanting one mainly for the MP3/Video playback.. yea theres a guy in class with a PSP aswell, had a play with it, i was suprised, and i have another friend who paid $350 NZ when he bought his in japan, and got a game and other stuff aswell. stupid NZ retailers out to rip off everyone.. interested to see how sony combat copying the UMDs seeing as a group who call themselves the "paradogs" have already hacked them.

2005-05-10 14:02:00 | There are lots of problems with the psps.Mainly of dead pixels.Hmm When I start selling at trademe I'll offer 1 year sony hk warranty. They can send it back to me for repairing.hmm..!lack of games for psp at the moment.I wouldn't go rushing in and buying 1 | Ninjabear (2948) | |
2005-05-11 05:25:00 | not what trademe has to offer. ther is quite a big selection of games. | Jams (1051) | |
2005-05-11 05:39:00 | They may be able to hack the games but theres no way you'd get anything onto a UMD disk easily. I suspect that they'll make flash cards (well by using memory sticks) to load games like what they are currently doing for GBA. | DangerousDave (697) | |
