| 353562 | 2005-05-25 22:00:00 | I was contacted last week by a senior management member of Dell, who got involved. .... a replacement Inspiron was delivered at my home by a Dell employee on saturday and as a bonus I got a memory upgrade. The Dell advert junk mail that appeared in my letter box yesterday lists a FREE DOUBLE MEMORY as of 24 May. So your memory upgrade bonus was nice, but not entirely a "Sorry we stuffed you up for so long so here is a real bonus to compensate"; instead, imho, it was to appease a customer who would have rightly been p****d off even more to learn they missed out on the free double memory by a few days. Anyhow, it was good of Dell to have a senior manager to contact you, and to have it delivered by a Dell employee. So, HotKiwi, how is the new PC ??? |
