I had been married and he up and went . Whatever . When I felt ready to go out and meet guys again, for me it was the best place . I met many guys on there . Most wanted to see what coloured knickers I wear :D Several I met, we have stayed good friends . And then I hit paydirt!! I found him . We emailed for a couple of weeks, cos I was busy and couldnt meet him . Weve been living together from about 3 weeks after we met . I think what makes a difference is age . For us older fogies it is a safer way to meet people . Ive never understood the younger ones who are on there, seems it must take away some of the socialising that should be happening at that age . . like under 30 . One thing that is off putting for me though . . was the number of lads 18 to 26 who read my ad and contacted me saying they like older women :eek: |

Its like taking something thats already so very difficult and prolonging the anxiety and first meeting for long enough a time to make yourself go crazy..................... Talking yourself up enough that they will return your emails only to freak out because you know if you actually meet this person they will see what a freak you really are ................ or having some guy talk to you like hes the beez neez only to find out he only wants to see what colour handcuffs you have hanging on your bed head.:stare: | never-u-mind (6500) | ||
