2005-05-06 05:25:00 | Still taking 20 to 30 seconds to launch firefox.I think I'll just stay with opera! | Ninjabear (2948) | |
2005-05-06 05:32:00 | Really? My MOOX M1 (AMD K-6 we're talking about here!) build under 98 loads very quickly. If it's 20 seconds, something is defenitly wrong. | Edward (31) | |
2005-05-06 05:33:00 | Opera has always been better than Firefox IMO... and Opera 8 is the best yet!! No flames pls

2005-05-06 06:51:00 | Im running k6 200mhz windows 98se.64 Edo ram. The webpage does run alot smoother and i see that it doesn't use too much ram but opera is still faster at loading up everything. :groan:

2005-05-06 21:43:00 | nglayout.initialpaint.delay = 0, plus what tweak network settings extension does. to add this value to firefox type about:config in the address bar and add the key "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" with a value of 0. But Firetune does this as well.

2005-05-08 01:44:00 | You may have a fast PC already. I use a RAM Drive for the Cache location as well. This may help some as well as specifiying a bigger memory. I done so many tweaks I am not sure which is the faster hit. A combination of many things I have found on the web
