353380 2005-05-08 23:07:00 I'm looking for a source of red packet Altoids here in NZ. They are a small and very strong mint originating from the USA, and I need some for a semi-scientific experiment (strange as that may sound).

I've not noticed any in our shops, but then I haven't really been looking so I'm hopeful that the PF1 community will be able to help.

Cheers

Jeez You're on the ball today Metla.

Thanks for that. I'll try them if I don't find a normal retail source, but $10 for shipping is a bit stiff so I'll see if anybody else has seen them in the shops first.

Cheers

That's a great website - should be a useful contact for American pickles and pepper sauces.

Cherry Cola....ugh.

The KOOL-AID Mad ScienTwists Wild Watermelon Kiwi looks interesting though....

Theylist themselves as being in Tauranga, Wonder if they have a shopfront.

353385 2005-05-09 02:25:00 Are you wanting the Cinnamon Altoids as made in the UK?

I brought a packet back from Aus at my daughters request last month - I not having tried them until she opened them up.

They are a pink coloured round mint which look and taste similar to the "Smokers" lollies of old.

Thanks, but no, the type I need is the very strong mint flavour and cones in a red pack (fair warning!).

Sounds like they don't exist here so I may have to get some posted from the US.

353387 2005-05-09 08:19:00 Metla, The address on their website is on the edge of Tauranga in a rural area, so I'd guess it is just a home-based business with no shop as such. Andrew B (867)
