some of your signatures are hard enough to look at!
un-cluttered = easy to read and navigate.. there's enough "going on" design-wise on the forum pages already.

If you have an avatar, you don't need a personality. (Or rather, if you have no personality, you obviously need an avatar. ;))

Signatures had a reason for being in the newsgroups. They gave your contact details. Sometimes a brief witty quote or ascii-art picture was added. Bandwidth and disk space limitations led to an informal limit of 4 lines for a signature in most newsgroups. Offenders would quickly be asked to change their ways. ;)

We have (in the user CP options) the choice of wheteher to display avatars and signatures. I've chosen not to. Just in case. :cool:
