| 354799 | 2005-05-17 08:46:00 | ...also try your city council try here (http://www.manukau.govt.nz/).... Well, after navigating to the "Community Service" (www.manukau.govt.nz) section, I don't to where should I continue to go. In that "Community Service" webpage, all it says is "If you have any problem or require assistance, click here blah blah blah". It doesn't say anything on recruiting volunteers.... Cheers :) |

| 354801 | 2005-05-17 10:25:00 | All you will need to do is head out after dark and break into a few cars, if you don't get caught you get to keep all the free goodies,if you do get caught you will simply be directed to the local Community Service center, which is what you want anyhow, a win-win situation. Well, not so much a winning situation for the car owners, But thats to be expected in a breeding hotspot like Auckland. A win win situation? How do you work that out? The Father wants community work being done. I was under the impression that the Father had said that the Son was going to have to do Community Work. This may be because the Father wanted to Discpline the Son. Once upon a time I got a kick up the backside from my local Cop for doing something wrong. The Cop got me home and Dad did the same. I don't blame either of them. It did not do me any harm. I am sick and tired of Political correctness! At the moment a former teacher is being chucked out of Parliament due to a tennis ball issue. Another person whom being in Parliament openly supports smoking marijuana. |

My mum discourages me from washing my own plates and I always leave it for my sister to do the job . . . Can't really blame me . . . . Cheers :) I heard it on the radio one lunchtime . I hope I remembered the number correctly . It was for people who wanted to volunteer their time to visit old folks, or housebound people - essentially people who live by themselves as I do, where someone like yourself could just pop in and see them for ten minutes or so and have a chat with them . It is done by arrangement with St . John's Ambulance . ;) |
