354732	2005-05-13 08:02:00	Had to laugh today, talking about privacy in class today, and confidentiality . which bought up computers somehow????? and the people sitting next to me are convinced every time you go on the net or even when not on the net??? the american FBI and CIA are wacthing you! LOL they are watching you through your computer . . . . what you do, did and where you have been? they are also convinced that you can never ever delete anything from a computer and pornography will stay on the comp for ever . . . . ? where do people come up with this sort of idea? is it a M$ thing gone wrong? or uneducated comp people who shouldnt be near a puter ever? or is it scare tactics? or are they on the train of rightness? they did not like me laughing tho . . . . . . :lol: :dogeye: monitoring can be done i spose, oh and also i heard that hackers - crack ya machine and watch what ya do to . . . and put things on ya puter . . . . . :badpc: :thumbs: im surprised these sort of people actually have a puter if they think like this . . . comments anyone???????? beetle	beetle (243)

LOL they are watching you through your computer....what you do, did and where you have been? every bit of data you reive from the net goes through your ISP. they can sniff the ISP, normally looking for certain keywords. they are also convinced that you can never ever delete anything from a computer and pornography will stay on the comp for ever....? its not that bad but there is more data left one the hardrive than you would think, even after its been overwritten. oh and also i heard that hackers - crack ya machine and watch what ya do to...and put things on ya puter..... beetle done every day. look at how many people end up with key loggers etc on their pc's. if spyware can get installed then it can be hacked easly.	tweak'e (69)

354736	2005-05-13 08:28:00	I think NZ were going to follow what the US had or were going to do with that carnivore program for email or something . BUT that went kaputt . I think . And with hackers, well if u go to places like warez, crack, porn sites, well its your own fault . Or open emails with attachments, from people you don't know . Coz what u download may have a trojan horse in it . You wouldn't know if a trojan horse has been installed, as it installs in the background, and runs in the background . And all the hacker has to do is search for an ip, if your ip address pops up, they hack you, track you, and depending on what u installed, can and will get your passwords, pin numbers, the works . There was one the other day on the Herald site, a guy used something like a trojan horse and took 34,000 + out of someone's account . And the bank reimbursed the guy . And the hacker pleaded guilty and will be sentenced this / next month . And if u use a webcam and get some certain trojans, the hacker can also view you with that webcam, if its connected and on .
