| 356394 | 2005-05-18 22:21:00 | You should have heard National Radio this am. Apparently lots of Scots feel that this is another plot by the Sassenachs to marginalise their fair and misty land. Evidently Scotland looks tiny on the graphics in comparison with the large land of the Poms. Quite stirred up they are, and the heather is once more ablaze. Hmm, I must re-look at it on TV3 news to see whether the Mainland is properly represented as far larger and more significant than the offshore island to the north. :D Personally, I find the TV3 weather graphics to be quite cruddy and amateurish. :( |

Actually I was quite surprised when I first heard that the Pongolians were going to purchase the same graphics as TV3 - whilst we watch TV3 News rather than be subjected to the manipulative delivery of the so-called "Mother of the Nation" (and get constantly reminded about her obscene salary), I think the TV1 weather is far better. So are the weather presenters. TV3 Toni's high uplift warm front (courtesy of Wonderbra?) sometimes obscures the weather information I am interested in! :stare: |
