654272 2008-04-18 09:34:00 BUGGER!!! lol. It was downloading, then it said that the download was complete but the "Next" button was shaded out!! The only button I could press was the back button, which resulted in the message "The download is not complete. Are you sure you want to stop the download" (or something along those lines). So I thought i'd let it sit like that for a few minutes, to no avail, nothing changed!! I clicked "Back" and tried to start again. Every time I try now, it says its downloading and it may take a few minutes but after half an hour it hasn't done anything!!

I thought it was over!!!!!

654273 2008-04-18 09:49:00 If you try downloading the guide again, then putting MCE to window mode, and in the system tray there should be a MCE (green orb) icon. Hover your mouse over it. How far does it get to? Sherman (9181)
654274 2008-04-18 10:09:00 Window mode? I minimized it and theres no orb in the system tray. springa886 (10558)
654275 2008-04-18 10:13:00 Window mode, click the button next to the X (middle one) at the top right of the screen while Media center is full screen.

As an aside, if you wish, I am currently in chatf1 (http://chatf1.erayd.net) if you wish to talk in real time.. Username and password is the same as your Pressf1 ones.

654278 2008-07-20 05:13:00 Hi
I'm new. I don't know how to write an ini, but I was able to follow the code enough that I was able to get TVxb to do what I wanted but with a minor flaw, when it downlaods the channels I changed they're missing their first letter missing and no descriptions?
Can it be fixed?
This is my ini

Doubt it, I think that it is probably an issue with the website, or with TVxb and not your configuration. Also, please let me know if the rest of the guide has helped you at all (if you're following it that is..). Although note that I personally never spent any real amount of time with TVxb.
I couldn't be bothered trying to maintain a media guide for media center, as I don't use analogue, just dvb-t these days, for which I cant use MCE for.

654280 2008-07-23 04:43:00 I have had some success using djkxml as my grabber and wmcGuideServiceProxy.exe (Pre-Release) from epgstream.net to populate the Vista EPG. All the hoopla needed to get Bladerunner going seemed a bit over the top, but the above solution did at least get me a working epg. Have some problems with djkxml/wmc and time formats, but I have just read about a stream editor that should solve the problem. Hopefully, one day (oh happy day) there might be some reconcilliation between Sky and MS that will stop the needless inconveniencing of their customers.:banana Webnomix (13558)
