It does look like *&^% on one of those screen shots doesn't it.. :help:I will post a link later tonite, the price will beeeeeeee....eeeeee, free  if you like it just use it. I will only use the same text and stuff already on your page, just tidy it up.

356363 2005-05-23 08:49:00 OK I thought this would be fun...

Here is pctek's site in css
Normally the css would be on its own page however.
The H3, is absolutly placed just to show how you can do it. Also its the best place for the keywords of the site.

hunting-fishing-new-zealand.com

All you have to do is save the page to your machine

356365 2005-05-23 16:24:00 Here (www.robnairn.orcon.net.nz) is what I came up with, tables and css. Rob99 (151)
356366 2005-05-23 16:53:00 And here (www.robnairn.orcon.net.nz) is a sample of what the links page could look like. I would suggest the same layout and menu for each page. Rob99 (151)

356368 2005-05-23 22:11:00 If you want to use it I can email you the whole lot in a zip, the images and css.

As for the product pages, we could do a test to see if server will accept SHTML, this would allow you to change the prices with notepad, no code in sight. The files you would update look similar to this.

product information and stuff $192.55
product information and stuff $ 23.70
product information and stuff $192.55
product information and stuff $ 23.70

This would need to be tested though.

Otherwise I still would recomend notepad for updating the HTML, if the code is well laid out and easy to follow and well commented I'm sure you would be able to pick it up.

356369 2005-05-24 00:13:00 I'll jump onboard for kicks. Here's my clean three column version (sal.neoburn.net) of mcs.geek.nz (http://mcs.geek.nz/), is very boring atm but is a good indication of how much more slim you can get pages by hand coding and use of css. Will add color later today. sal (67)
356370 2005-05-24 00:23:00 Sal - you're a website design genius. Gotta love that 3 column version.

However, for the sake of just a few kilobytes I'd do the header as an image.

I used to do that with a website for a shop I ran, edit and chnage product names and prices in the code.
The hosting plan is a UNIX server host and accepts a lot more complictaed websites than mine, its probably feeling quite insulted having to store my word files on it, hehe.
I emailed you via your website BTW....
