654241 2008-04-14 12:22:00 What happens if you right-click "Download Guide" (for Tvxb) and choose "Run as Administrator"? Sherman (9181)

654243 2008-04-15 02:49:00 Hmm, just noticed in the log that it is trying to create a file called "listing 2.xml" It might not like the space in the filename. It should be "listing2.xml". You can alter this in the TVxb.ini file that you created. Sherman (9181)

LOL when I quote the above, it shows up like it should (with no spaces) but when I post the reply it puts those spaces in!!! The space in "listing 2.xml" isn't there in my logfile.

654245 2008-04-15 05:24:00 I'm not sure if this will help but, this is what my TVxb.ini file looks like (when i click "Edit Configuration" in Start> All Programs> TVxb.)

654246 2008-04-15 05:27:00 Hmmmm, this IS weird!!! The spaces in the line of my previous post that says: "xmltvoutput=="C:\WINDOWS\ehome\BladeRunnerPro\Guid eData\listing2.xml" and the line that says : mcechanneloutput="C:\WINDOWS\ehome\BladeRunnerPro\ QuickGuide\ChannelInfo.XML" aren't there, only when i post a copy to this site do those spaces pop up. springa886 (10558)
654247 2008-04-15 06:58:00 I'm sorry, I've had a little look around, and everything looks ok. I'm not sure what the problem is.

If you like though, tell me what channels you want listings for, and I'll whip you up a setup for djkxml.
Sherman (9181)
654248 2008-04-15 07:03:00 ohhhh that would be great!!!, I just want the basic channels: TV1, TV2, TV3 and C4. I cant tune in the rest of the channels, and C4 is really hard to see/hear, but i'll take em anyway!! :D springa886 (10558)
654249 2008-04-15 08:40:00 First, download sed for windows (sourceforge.net).

Install it, accepting defaults.

Download the mceguide.zip which will have all the files needed. Get it here (homepages.xnet.co.nz).

Unzip the file to C:\EPG

Move the ChannelInfo.xml to C:\Windows\ehome\BladeRunnerPro\QuickGuide

Then simply run UpdateMCEepg.cmd (from C:\EPG), and it should automatically get new guide data and create the necessary files. IT WILL THEN RUN BLADERUNNER PRO, which should - if everything works out correctly - create a guide.bin file in E:\Windows\ehome\BladeRunnerPro\GuideData

Continue setting up the system to allow MCE to access this guide.

654250 2008-04-15 09:47:00 First, download sed for windows (sourceforge.net).

Okay, done all that and got up to running UpdateMCEepg.cmd and it came up with this error message:

"Whoops process failed, please refer to any errors...

C:\Windows\ehome\BladeRunnerPro\Quickguide\Quickgu ide.exe did not execute successfully...."

I took a look in the C:\Windows\ehome\BladeRunnerPro\Quickguide folder and Quickguide.exe is in there, but it won't execute for some reason!!

Go the pulling my hair out!!!
