This is an obvious play on the Great Escape - those men cetainly didn't sing and dance when they got out. And when the Germans shot 50 of our best blokes, it really wasn't funny. Just how insenstive are these people. Don't they know people are still alive who were involved in that dreadful war? TomCome on now, Tom, it was a play on Hogan's Heroes - right down the music. Sorry about that - funny how most people the last 60 odd years reckon I take life too lightly and have a weird sense of humour. I do actually enjoy many shows like Hogans Heroes and Allo Allo but this particular advert just strikes a sour note. Pity Promaz is sick of people like me. If I had realised I would have refrained from doing my army service. So would my brothers, father, grandfathers, uncles cousins etc. Heh it's nice to know that my son and his contempories were never required to serve. But a big apology from all of us Promaz for upsetting you. Tom |
