If I want to let the rest of the puters in the house have the Router running, yet I want a particular unit to go dark to the internet..do I have that option with any of these commands without pulling plugs and wires?

654781 2008-04-01 01:46:00 As they Say----

Disable - disables the LAN Port, meaning no internet, not internal network, cuts the link between the PC and router.

Status ---- Show the current status of the connection , Connected, sent/received, Time connected etc.

Repair - meant to repair the connection if it gets damaged - often doesn't work.

Change Windows firewall Setting & Open network Connections --- Exactly what it says.

But...is this a permanent thing or just until the next reboot?

Can the connection then be reset by right clicking it when I want to return to the internet connection?

Ok just to clear it all up, if you disable it, you will have to go to my network places ===> View Network connections (in side bar thingy) and then right click the lan connection and click enable to make it all work again (NOT HARD LOL)

then its all good. have a good night.
